“With changing demographics in the United States as a whole and in Texas, we are seeing strong demand for our services in probate, guardianship, and estate administration,” explained Elliott Burdette, Managing Director of Probate Litigation at Burdette & Rice. “With the addition of David Mead, we are solidifying our place as one of the top law firms in the Dallas area for all issues surrounding probate, guardianship, and estate administration up to and including disputes and litigation. It is a great asset to have David’s knowledge and experience in the firm.”
A Commitment to Excellence in Matters of Trusts and Estates
The aging of the US population, not only in Texas but throughout the country, has meant an increasing need for every legal service regarding trusts and estates. In many cases, this is simple assistance in setting up trusts and estates, and so-called “living wills” for interested parties. In other cases, it can involve the administration of trusts and estates, up to and including guardianship if their are minors involved. And, in still others, there may be disputes, will contests, and even complex litigation surrounding matters of probate, estates, and trusts. With a primary office in Dallas and a new satellite office in Plano, Burdette & Rice is in “expansion mode” when it comes to legal services in this area.
